About the Author

Bonjour! My name is Anne Nikolaiken.

I’m a contemporary romance author who writes what I love to read, so you know that each story will have open-door spice, loveable couples who enjoy flirty repartee and are committed to each other. Oh, and a guaranteed happily ever after (because having characters choose love is the best part).

Whether I’m writing steamy love stories featuring determined heroines set in small-towns (with the guy next door) or international destinations (and swoon-worthy athletes), my characters always have one thing in common: they fight for love and never give up.

When I’m not writing about people falling in love, I’m watching Formula One races on repeat, drawing in my sketchbook, and baking too many cookies… but most importantly, I’m spending quality time with my family in a lake-filled area of Canada.

I am currently hard at work writing my next novel.

Fun Facts:

I took a romance writing course in college because I’ve loved reading them, and have been writing love stories ever since!
My first language is French. (Merci, Maman!).
My grandfather was a mechanic and he passed down his love of Formula One to me.
In a previous career, I worked in a library because I’m an avid reader (romance, fantasy, and history books are my go-to).
My sketchbooks (and school notebooks) growing up were filled with drawings of race cars.
I won’t say no to good pastries… or cookies. (Or chocolatines).
